In Karur district our Candle Trust was conducted Blood donation camp for 3 times and gets awards from district collector of Karur . Candle Trust is the only organization is getting 3 time awards reorganization from district collector of Tamilnadu State AIDS Control Society (TANSACS).
Candle Trust joined with Kulithalai Municipality for Dengue Fever Awareness. Swatch Bharat Mission was conducted by Candle Trust wit joined hands of Kulithalai Municipality. Corona Awareness programs with Kulithalai Municipality.
Candle Trust MSM welfare unit was started in Mayanur, Karur District by Candle Trust for Karur district all MSM. MSM registered in Karur District Social Welfare Office and they are getting identity card, House Land patta through our Candle Trust. First self help grounp started for MSM in Karur District by Candle Trust. District collector Mrs. Umamaheshwari supports MSM self help group which was started by Candle Trust for MSM.
HIV/AIDS is an ethnic issue spreading even to the remote villages and no where of high risk community. Unaware of sexuality and safer methods and personal hygiene. Though the government and NGOs are working to prevent and control the infection the spreading rate in Karur district is increasing day by day. Candle trust has given priority for HIV/AIDS awareness education among the SHGs. Spreading and non-spreading means of HIV/AIDS, STI and RTI information about health care units like ICTC, PPTC and ART were dealt in the programmes. On December 1st world AIDS day was conducted at our office, IEC materials were distributed on Condom usage was held SHSs are discussion and getting clarifications about HIV infection in their regular meetings. On every year of Thai Poosam festivel in Kulithalai Cauvery river of Kadamban thurai we conducted awareness programs or HIV/AIDS prevention. And providing CONDOM for the people. We conduct the same awareness programmers and other festivals in rural villages.
Candle Trust is Children’s Orphanage was founded by Mr.Dharmaraj on 2005. Founding The Candle Trust has seen a dream realized as the opportunity to make a difference and really help both orphaned and vulnerable children and young people become a reality.
Our trust was registered under Tamilnadu Juvenile Justice (Care and production of children). Department of Social defence, District child production unit. We run our home without any government funding source. Run only with our trustees contribution & public support.
The education support program to make the right to education meaningful by combating inequality and discrimination in education.
We are providing healthy and hygienic food with veg and non-vegitarian foods. Accommodation for all age group of children’s, Indoor and Outdoor sports activities like cricket, carom, etc.
Mentally and physically fitness programs like Yoga. Environmental program organized was to understand the fragility for our environmental and the importance of its protection, creating the bright future for our children.
Healthy food, Tea & Coffee with snacks
We arranged the vehicle for our children while travelling to the educational institution. All of Our children’s are studying in CSI School in Karur.
Every week sunday program for food donation for needy peoples in Karur, Kulithalai, Musiri in Tamilnadu. Free Food Program is focused to distributing hot, nutritions, hygenic packed food to distributing on every week of Sundays.
All Nutritious meal routines are strictly monitored for hygiene and quality across the supply and distribution chain.
